Marcelle, a mom herself, truly believes that learning to swim is more than just a fun activity, it’s a vital life skill. Growing up near the water in Hout Bay, she discovered her deep passion for swimming and the belief that everyone should learn to love it. She has wholeheartedly embraced this mission in her coaching. With her warm and supportive approach, Marcelle embodies the SWIM LEARN PLAY mantra, inspiring swimmers of all ages.
All the way from Joburg, Tanya began competitive swimming at a very young age. As a youngster, she often assisted with developmental swimming and strongly believes that learning to swim is an essential life skill. Teaching swimming brings her great joy. Tanya brings her extensive experience and passion to her coaching, helping swimmers of all levels develop their skills and confidence in the water.
Savannah, a former competitive swimmer with extensive experience, has seamlessly transitioned into her role as a swim instructor. Her teaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive environment where each swimmer can thrive and develop their unique strengths. With a tailored approach and a passion for the sport, Savannah helps her students build confidence and achieve their best in the pool.
Donovan began his coaching journey in Bloemfontein in 2017 and quickly discovered his passion for swimming and coaching. He takes great pride in helping swimmers develop essential skills while enjoying every step of their journey. Prince and Bruno, hailing from Malawi, are essential members of our Operations Team. Their dedication ensures that our pool is always in pristine condition, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Beyond maintaining the pool, they take great pride in keeping the entire premises clean, tidy, and inviting. Additionally, they run the Swimmable Tuckshop/Café. Their hard work and attention to detail play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that our community appreciates every day.
